BurnerSlice L4
Created Donnerstag 03 September 2020
A burner model with dynamic mass and energy balance considering heat exchange with neighbouring furnace models and cooled walls.
1. Purpose of Model
This model is well suited to model burner areas of a boiler. In combination with other models of the package SubSystems.Furnace a 1-dimensional boiler model can be developed which is discretised in flow direction.
This model combines the typical models which are used when the user builds up a furnace model to improve the usability. The time for parametrization and connection of different models is greatly reduced. The parametrization of the subcomponents is located on toplevel of this model.
The combined model consists of the following components:
Components:Furnace:Burner:Burner L2 Dynamic fuelDrying
Basics:ControlVolumes:SolidVolumes:CylindricalThinWall L4
Components:VolumesValvesFittings:Pipes:PipeFlow L4 Simple
2. Level of Detail, Physical Effects Considered and Physical Insight
2.1 Level of Detail
Referring to Brunnemann et al. [1], this model refers to the level of detail L2.
3. Limits of Validity
For details of the limits of validity please have a look in the documentation of the subcomponents used in this model.
